MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING – April 25, 2005 6:10 PM
Selectmen Present: Eric R. Munson, Jr., James Deming, and Wesley Greene, II
Present:
Minutes of previous meeting accepted.
Joanne Duval, Animal Control Officer asked if the town wanted to take on the responsibility of “Cat Control” The Selectmen felt that it would not be in the best interest of the town at this time.
Jessica Kelmelis, Librarian asked about the FY06 Library Salaries. She hasn’t gotten any type of notification. Eric apologized for not informing her of the salary decision and felt that since the Finance Committee would not be meeting before the Budget Hearing on May 9th that it would be best to have the Library Trustees bring up the library salaries at the Budget Hearing.
Mick Garrold, MIIA gave the Board of Selectmen an Insurance presentation. The Board felt that it would be best for Tolland to continue their insurance relationship with MIIA.
Transfer Station hours will change to Summer Hours as of May 1st. John will schedule for an open bin for sometime in June.
